Stinking with the updates!!

Good afternoon all. So I have been really stinking with updates like the last week or two.

I have been feeling really well as of late, but the heartburn has been more prominent. I feel our little girl everyone now and then, but not on a regular basis.

I am almost 20 weeks (tomorrow!). Halfway tomorrow. Time is flying by.

I believe the nesting phase has hit. I cleaned all weekend and had dinner on the table when Justin got off work (and those that know me understand that is impressive). I am hoping to go through a couple of boxes tonight and start knocking part of the unpacking out, so we can set up the nursery.

We have also been name hunting. I have some ideas that are pretty amazing. I am falling in love with one name, but I want to make sure that I like it later, so Justin and I are seeing if we like the way it sounds later.

In honor of the 20 week milestone tomorrow, this is what my little one will be doing this next week.

20 WEEKS:

How your baby's growing:

Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)

He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).
